Law Enforcement Towing Rates

Cape Coral Police Department Towing Charges:

• Rotation Tow:
  $215.00 (Example: Accident, Arrest, Abandoned Vehicles)
• Mileage Charge:
  $5.50 Per Mile
• Hourly Rate:
  $0.00 First 30 minutes
  $105.00 After 30 Minutes
• Extra Man Power:
  $85.00 per man hour charge
• Storage:
  $65.00 Inside the Building + tax
  $85.00 Inside Storage Over 25'
  $55.00 Outside Lot + tax
  $75.00 Outside Storage Over 25'
• Admin Fee:
  $100.00
  An administrative fee may be charge only after the vehicle has been in storage for at least 3 calendar days.
• Lien Fee:
  $75.00
  A lien fee may be charged for the costs and fees imposed by the State of Florida for obtaining ownership information.
• Gate Fee:
  $45.00 Mon-Fri 6PM to 8AM each time.
• Gate Fee Weekends & Holidays:
  $45.00 each time.

Please Note: To pick up the vehicle or belongings out of a vehicle they must be the registered owner with a photo I.D or a original copy of a notarized letter (If the owner is out of town, state or the country the notarized letter must be from the town, state or country) from the owner stating who may pick up the vehicle or any belongings from the vehicle. Fax or email will not be accepted, only the original copy will be accepted.

• Rotation Tow:
  $200 (Example: Accident, Arrest, Abandoned Vehicles)
• Mileage Charge:
  $5.50 for the first 10 miles towed.
• Hourly Rate:
  $0.00 First 30 minutes
  $105.00 per hour after 30 Minutes
• Extra Man Power:
  $105.00 per man hour charge
• Storage:
  $55.00 Inside the Building + tax
  $45.00 outside Lot + tax
• Admin Fee:
  $100.00
  An administrative fee may be charge only after the vehicle has been in storage for at least 3 calendar days.
• Lien Fee:
  $75.00
  A lien fee may be charged for the costs and fees imposed by the State of Florida for obtaining ownership information.
• Gate Fee:
  $45.00 Mon-Fri 6PM to 8AM.
• Gate Fee:
  $45.00 Sat-Sun & Holidays.
• Gate Fee will be charged each visit(e.g if we have to return 3 times $45.00 X 3 = $135.00).
